R.I.S.E. is one of Philadelphia's major anti-crime anti-violence initiatives. Established to reduce the City's recidivism rate and to assist ex-offenders in successfully reintegrating into local Philadelphia communities, R.I.S.E. serves ex-offenders who have been released from Federal, State, and local prisons/jails irrespective of their date of release. To date, R.I.S.E. has served nearly 6,000 ex-offenders.
